NTNUI's veteran prop. Stein Ove Kristensen, is selected for the norwegian national team that will play Denmark in the "Clash of the Vikings" in Bergen on oct 17th.

A spirited NTNUI side travelled all the way to Bergen to play for a spot in the season final. Despite giving it all, the Trondheim students could not match the powerful Bergen team in a fun and entertaining match.

For once the weather was wet and windy, conditions well known to both teams. Bergen travelled to Trondheim with a solid team to see 22 local boys ready to fight for victory against last year's runner up.

Once more the weather gods granted the people of Trondheim a lovely day for rugby. The grass was green, the guys fired up and the opponents were the reigning norwegian champions from Oslo rugbyklubb.

With the loss to Stavanger well forgotten, the team looked forward to play OSI in the first home game of the season. The team had a good week of training leading up to the match, and everybody arrived at Lade confident that this game would be ours to win.

Stavanger, the reigning 10's and 7's champions, hosted us for for the first match of the 15's season 2009. A reduced squad travelled from Trondheim and despite a brave effort, the solid Stavanger team proved too strong for the inexperienced NTNUI side.

NM was played at Lade on Saturday the 15th of August. 8 teams participated in the men's group and 3 teams in the women's group.

Trondheim is hosting NM 7's August 15th at Lade Idrettsanlegg.

It was a nice day for rugby at Lade, the pitch was perfect and the weather couldent be better. 4 maches where played and the results are:

NTNUI Rugby goint forses with Fosen Rugby. Together we won all 3 games we played in Ulsteinvik.

Wednesday 15. April at 19:00 the team have a players meeting to discus the upcoming season. All players are asked to attend this meeting.
